About
The Weekend After running The Gathering,
a didje related weekend, for 8 years now we've decided to put on a small and intimate
drum camp weekend for UK percussion instruments.
The main aim of the weekend
is for anyone with an interest in playing percussion instruments to come together,
share ideas, jam, perform, make merry and have a great time at a beautiful venue.
Please
note that the event does not include kit drums. A really friendly and
welcoming family atmosphere in a beautiful countryside setting. Please
be aware that due to limited space in the main hall this is strictly a ticket
only event so please book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets will not be available
on the gate.

Campsite
For the benefit of families with younger children, it would be preferable
if the campsite was a quiet area between 9pm and 9am. So if sitting around the
fire pit at night, or coming back from the Barn, please don't drum or play loud
musical instruments in or near the campsite and keep voices down so people can
sleep. Same
in the mornings... please don't start making unnecessary noise until after 9am.
However, away from the campsite you are welcome to make lots of noise, bang
drums, shout and sing during the campsite quiet time, for example in the Barn,
The Toot, or down at the lake. Thank you.
